Sub-Saharan Habesha by way of London, Lula Mebrahtu (artist name #lulaxyz) is a creative enigma, who is carving out a career for herself as a multidisciplinary Artist, an approach, which has led Lula to garner support and success across multiple fields. 

At the forefront of vanguard, with technology (MiMu Gloves) as her enabler, Lula is breaking through ‘ the norm’ and liberating artistic expression for a sensory experience encapsulated within her self-released EP, From My Hands to Your Ears.  

Having received a Dance & Drama award to study Musical theatre Diploma (equipped with a previous degree in psychology for which she says “that belongs to my mother”), a triple threat is what they trained her to be but she is transforming into so much more. A seasoned performer with a personable manner, her voice has naturally lent itself towards documentaries for the BBC and music festivals home & away (EFG London Jazz Festival - Afropunk NYC).
